Within the scope of SMYO Alumni Meetings, an online interview was held with our 2019 Computer Programming graduate Umut Geyik on March 21, 2025, moderated by Dr. Lecturer Hakan Yıldırım.
Umut Geyik, a 2019 Computer Programming graduate, was granted the right to study in the United States with the Fulbright Turkey Commission Vocational School Education Scholarship, and upon his return to the country, he won the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) and graduated from Istanbul Bilgi University Computer Engineering Department with a scholarship. He currently works as a computer engineer and software developer at SANLAB.
In the event, which was attended by first-year and second-year students of the Computer Programming Department, our graduate shared his experiences abroad and in the sector with our students and answered questions from our students.
