Construction technology refers to the set of techniques, methods and tools used in the process from design to construction of buildings. Modern construction technologies are of great importance for the safety, durability and sustainability of structures. Professionals working in the field of construction technology; He takes an active role in construction projects such as dams, roads, airports and housing, and works in technical positions in companies that provide supervision services and in public or local governments.

For this purpose, in our program, in addition to theoretical information, practical information to be used in the field of application is given in laboratories. Many computer programs related to the department are trained. Students graduating from the construction technology program are interested in the construction industry; It is trained as the necessary intermediate staff (professional staff) with sufficient knowledge and business skills in the subjects needed by private engineering, architecture offices, construction companies, building inspection companies and the public sector.

The training period is 2 years. Those who successfully complete their courses and professional internships graduate from the associate degree program. Graduates of the Construction Technology program can start their business life by receiving the title of 'Construction Technician'. Those who want to continue their education can transfer to the Architecture and Civil Engineering departments by taking the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).
